Among the selected young AAU researchers to receive funding through the Aalborg University talent management program is Assistant Professor Kristian Kjær Petersen. The title of the project is “A mechanism-based paradigm shift in pain medicine “, which aims to generate simple clinical pain mechanistic algorithms and validate these in patients with severe osteoarthritic pain and low back pain.
The project will include collaborators from Oslo University, University of Nottingham, University Medical Centre Groningen and Aalborg University Hospital.
