Kristian Kjær Petersen, Associate Professor, has received funding from Aalborg University’s talent program for his project, “A mechanism-based paradigm shift in pain medicine “.The project aims to generate simple clinical pain mechanistic algorithms and validate these in patients with severe osteoarthritic pain and low back pain.

A group of medical students from Aalborg University wrote their bachelor project on sleep and chronic pain. The study was completed in collaboration with two pain researchers and the results are now published in a scientific journal with the students as co-authors.
